Climbing is a superb example of primal exercise – the entire body is used in a highly integrated and ‘brain-gym‘ type of way to combat gravity.
I suspect that if we could climb, pull up, Turkish get-up, crawl, lift and carry (and so on) to a decent standard, we wouldn’t – barring accidents – have any problem performing other sports that – as we age – we often find so demanding.
Golf, tennis, cycling and so on.
